James Carlton Brand 02/02/1976 - 08/30/2010; 34 yrs young. A brilliant, gifted and thought-provoking writer, poet, composer (The Wild Man of the Navidad), photographer, loved anything to do with Thailand/Thai culture,traveler... Loved learning, loved books esp those that made you think, wrote & published independent/underground zines from 1994-2003, in the 90's he sang and played guitar in punk bands. Deeply in love with and happily, newly married to a beautiful young lady, Nomi Sudchabrand. My stepson. I was very proud of the man he became and looked forward to seeing where his "new" path would take him... Rest in Peace J.C.

to Wave or not to Wave? That seems to be the question...

In a recent Web2.0 workshop for faculty, my colleagues and I decided to take on Wave and see what the advantages were to using Wave instead of Blackboard, our current LMS. We all had our Wave invites, set it up but that's about where it began and stopped... until this workshop. So, the adventure begins.

Anyone else out there using it? Pros? Cons? How are you using it?
