What will it take...

to get educators to use technology? To engage all learners? Share, learn, and connect not just inside the classroom for a few hours but outside as well, 24/7.

Wow. If anyone needs convincing... take a look at this. No technology is not the end all be all, but if the tool fits then use it, exploit it, embrace it. Very well put together. I especially liked the "learning conversation." I think that we all want to engage in "learning conversations" not just in a classroom but with all our connections and relationships. Listening to a lecture and not being able to have input or ask questions or ponder is one-sided and never helped me in any situation.

Pondering...

What if... during the semester a prof requires students to upload to a secure site their notes taken during F2F class as part of a participation grade, maybe not heavily weighted (?). This could help those who are accommodated with a notetaker during class, allow students to see what others got out of the class, peer review each others notes, and further discussions.

Just pondering...

AT Cubed:: Closing the Digital Divide..

AT Cubed:: Closing the Digital Divide... for the full story.

Take a close look at the pictures! Wow! Talk about getting the word out there. Made my heart sing and my eyes tear...

Maybe... just maybe we could all do with a little more of this type of graffiti.
